...whew!!!!!! I made it.

Well I survived!  The Run and all the events went almost perfect!  We raised all the money we need to get the playground and small walking trail.... we had a ton of people in our little town... and above all ~ It's over!  For the first time in about 3 months I enjoyed staying at home yesterday, working on some projects around the house, enjoyed time with my family, and felt a large load off my shoulders.  It was amazing!

This is the RUN Committee.
Each person took a role in different parts of the run.  Some helped with getting sponsors, some helped with t-shirts, some helped with pickup/delivery, paint the streets, make copies, run errands, etc.  LOTS of details go into making this day happen....

This picture 'might' be my favorite!  This picture symbolizes the start of the RUN and the outcome of a lot of work.... hard work pays off.  I got all choked up when that gun went off!  We did it!!!!

NO I was NOT singing at the run! ;)  I like this picture because it's me giving away the awards at the end.  I don't like it because it's a pic of me, I like it because it symbolizes "THE END" :)  The race was over, went great, no major problems! Done :)

I have many many people to be thankful for.  Particpants, sponsors, friends, family, and for it being the Lord's will that it happened and was a success. I have received some very nice comments, emails, text messages, etc  all that I hold dear to me and appreciate with all my heart!  I received a negative ONE too.  Somehow negative quickly over shadows all positive. BUT I keep telling myself that people like that are just not worth it...There's always the negative, however I am trying to put it behind me and remember that 'what goes around comes around' - I'm proud.  I am proud of my committee, I'm proud of this community, and I'm proud to say that we've had 2 successful 5K Runs in this tiny town.

The new playground will be installed on Thursday.  So I will be posting pics of that process.  SO excited!  ...until then I'm going to focus on my life, my family, my job, and the things that are truely the most important to me.

Much Love,
Shae
