10 Years.....

10 years!
Tomorrow Will & I will celebrate
our 10th Anniversary!  Unbelievable.
Thinking back on the past 10 years I think of how many changes (both postive and negative) have taken place in our lives.  We've had BIG bumps in the road, ups and downs, had some very trying times in our marriage, but made it through.  Then we've had so many wonderful times in the past ten years, so many wonderful memories, and happy times.
In the past 10 years, we have had 3 children.  We are very proud parents, we work hard to raise our children in the admonition of the Lord, our kids are our life, and we wouldn't change it for anything! We've learned and realized that parenting takes two!  It takes sticking together and supporting each other....and it's NOT easy.  We are blessed and thankful for our family of five!

In the past 10 years, we've had to give up "us" time.  We would love to get to have more date nights or dinners so we can have an entire conversation but it is pretty rare!  However, in the same breath...when our kids are away from us all we do is talk about them.

Both Will and I have each lost a grandpa in the past few years.  That was a hard time in our lives that we really stuck together and pulled through together.  Death is a hard thing to go thru but made so much easier when shared with your best friend.

We have moved once in the past 10 years.  Thankfully not anymore!  We remodeled our current house so that it was liveable and moved in right before Kate was born.  I've been through job changes, and Will took on an extra job.  We work hard to provide for our family, and we are proud of what we have.

....and in the past 10 years I know I have come to realize that Will is truely my very best friend.  Other friends talk about you, stab you in the back, and/or are jealous.  Will won't do that to me.  He supports me, encourages me, shares my goals and values, and he is an amazing Christian.
Will has grown so much in the past few years as a Christian and is an example to me as well as our children.  He does SO much for others and cares so much for our family and for everybody.

I am both blessed and honored to be married to my best friend and look forward to MANY MANY more years and memories!

I love you Will!
Shae
