Band is required for all 4th graders at Thomas and Jaxen was dreading it. He did NOT want to be in band at all. They just played recorders and learned to read some music but in the end he actually ended up enjoying it (just doesn't want to admit it). His band teacher Mrs. Orange said he is very talented and was her top student. He was "1st chair" at the end of the year concert.
He got the biggest award as most outstanding 4th grade band member. From the pic above you can see that he was just a "little excited" ;)
We are proud of you Jaxen! You worked hard at something you didn't think you would like and found a talent you didn't know you had.
