Harvest!!!

Of course a huge part of our summer is harvest!  Will works looooong hours and him and his dad cut wheat together.  This year we had a crew of 5 men to feed 2 meals a day so kept us pretty busy!!!
This is what I like to call "Meals on wheels"

I enjoyed feeding the guys and the kids enjoyed this time to see their daddy.  They'd eat then jump on the combine for a ride!
Harvest fun!!!

Happy Fathers Day!

Happy Fathers Day!!!  Our three kids are so incredible blessed to be able to call you Daddy!  You are an amazing father and example to them.  Thank you for being an awesome dad!!!
They made dad special homeade cards and had a gift for him of a new wallet they found and knew he'd love!  You can tell by their faces they are so proud of it. LOVE!!!

I also got to see my dad on Fathers day!
Took the kids that afternoon (Will was cutting wheat) and
spent the day swimming at Mema & Papa's house.
I too am very blessed with an amazing dad
who will do anything for me and my family.  Love my dad!!!

in the 'little' pool

Sometimes you just need a "little" pool to cool off in.  We got a little blow up pool while Jaxen was at church camp, the girls especially enjoyed their "night time swims" - Making memories!!

Swim Lessons

Kate went to swimming lessons and swam around that pool like a champ!  She had several little kids in her class and looked forward to going each day!
...few week later....she is a swimmer!  Good job Kate!!!

Church Camp

Jaxen got to go to his first week long church camp this year.  He went to Lariat Creek Christian Camp. He had a wonderful experience, met a lot of new friends, and literally "grew up" while he was there.  It certainly made my heart happy to hear how much he loved camp and couldn't wait to go back  next year!!!!

it was a beautiful wedding and tons of fun was had by all!!!

Girls with their cousins....Madi with Papa

OKC Zoo!

We hit the zoo before the summer heat hit!  Found a beautiful day to enjoy the zoo.
The kids got to feed the giraffes (never done that before) and they really liked that...

My little monkeys!

Having fun!!!
Enjoyed the zoo...can't wait to go back....Until next time...

4th Annual Thomas 5K RUN!

This is the fourth year I have been the chairman of the Thomas 5K Fun Run.  It's a great event and benefits the community in so many ways.  This year the run was to raise money for the Thomas Swimming Pool.  The pool hasn't had any improvements in about 40 years so money raised helped update it a little bit.
This years run was on Memorial Day Weekend.  So we went with the red/white/blue theme and even had a contest for the best dressed runner. It was so fun and neat to see everyone participate and get dressed up to help support our town.
Will, Jaxen, and Madi all ran the Thomas 5K.  It was Madi's first 5K and her and Jaxen rocked it! So proud of them!!
Above is a pic of this years 5K committee.  We had the BEST committee ever this year.  So thankful for this group of ladies and their hard work and dedication to the this event.

All dressed up in their patriotic attire!!

Such a FUN day - so thankful for my family for supporting me and helping me as I head up this event.  They are so patient and encouraging and share my excitement.

Proud of my family. Madi got 1st in her age group...Jaxen got 1st in his age group....and Will was 4th in his age group!  Way to go Mannering's!!!

baseball

Summertime...... no it's BASEBALL time!!!! I love baseball and I LOVE watching my kids play ball.  All three kids played baseball this summer and it's been so fun.
Jaxen played catcher and pitcher.  He had a great season and has a true love for the game!
Will was one of the coaches this year and below is the Team.
These boys had a great year and improved so much each and every game.
Hated to see this season end.  The boys were so much fun to watch!!

Tball!!!
This was Madi's second time to play T Ball and Kate's first time. Madi had to miss about half of the season because she had her tonsils out but came back in time to enjoy the last couple of games. Kate loved every second of it and kept the coaches laughing the whole time.

Oh and Kate liked to wear these socks.
She thought they made her look like she was wearing a real uniform.

Of course I have a million pics of my kids from baseball/tball but I will stop there.... Sad that baseball ended but will be nice to just enjoy SUMMERtime for awhile!

Awards Assembly....Last Day of School

Madi's class at the awards assembly.  Madi racked in some awards!  She got a trophy for earning a ton of AR points, she got awards in each subject, and superintendents Honor Roll.

She also got this big award this year.  One student is chosen from each class for the Citizenship Certificate.  This is a huge honor because it goes to the most outstanding student that has been polite, helpful, respectful, and worked hard ALL year.  We sure are proud of Madi for earning this award.  It comes as no surprise to us that she exemplifies these things as she does all the time but we are non the less VERY proud of her and her hard work this year....she's moving on to 2nd grade!!!
Jaxen also racked in some awards!  He earned a trophy for AR, as well as in each subject, and was on the Superintendents Honor Roll.  He's worked SO hard this year and has done so well.  He was bless with an exceptional teacher, Mrs. Royalty.  She challenge each and every student and definitely made the work to their full potential.  I know for sure that Jaxen kept her on her toes but the best things I could have heard out of his teachers mouth was "Everyone loves Jaxen, how can you not?  He's a great kid and a great student, and I love that he loves to read!!" Mrs. Royalty
We are proud of you Jaxen....and he's moving on to 5th grade!!!

Jaxen and Madi are sure excited to be out for SUMMER BREAK!
....actually I think Kate might be the MOST excited!!!!

Little Olympics

Wrapping up another school year and one of the big activities
that goes at the end of each year is Little Olympics.
Each student gets to be in a 4 events.  Jaxen's first event - the sack race!

Jaxen and Dayson

 Miss Madi!!
My little runner!  She is FAST!!!
Madi with some of the girls in 1st grade.
Kate cheering on her brother and sister!
Jaxen doing a running event and softball throw!
Both kids did great and placed in their events.  So proud of them!!!

Field Trip...1st grade!

Spent the day with Madi's 1st grade class at Acme Brick Park in Clinton.  It was a nice warm day for the kids to play and ride the train!
Ali, Justina, Madi

 Lunch time!!
 Riding the tire swing!!!
Last but not least train ride!  So fun!
All aboard!

Ended the field trip with a much needed stop for ice cream at braum's!  So good.
Again, I'm so thankful to get to experience these times with my kids.  Love being able to help with school activities and capture some of their Fun!!!

Happy Mothers Day

This might've been one of the BEST Mothers Day ever!
Went to church with my family then we grabbed subway and headed to the park.
Threw a quilt down and had a nice quiet picnic!  I loved it!
There's no greater blessing than to be called MOM!  I'm so thankful
that God chose me to be a mother to these three beautiful kiddos!!! BLESSED.

Roll Schools - One Room Schoolhouse

By far the neatest field trip I've ever been on.  Jaxen's 4th grade class went to a one room schoolhouse in Roll, OK.  They had to take their lunch in a metal pail and it had to be the type of food they would've taken back then (biscuit, apple, jelly).  It was challenging to figure it all out but so neat to experience.  The kids dressed the part and had a full day of school in the classroom.
