My Firstborn...

I had planned to use this blog as a journal that I can transfer over to a book one day for my kids.  So, I'm going to spend the next few days writing individually about each of my children at this time in their lives.

The first, the oldest, my boy!  Jaxen is a GREAT kid, he is a wonderful BIG brother to his sisters....  He is funny, has a tender heart, is a helper, and LOVES sports!  We finished (tonight actually) a great season of Baseball.  He played his last coach pitch game! :(
They had an excellent season, won most of their games, and made their way all the way to Regionals.
This is Jaxen with Braden (a friend from Church) - they both qualified for the 2nd round of the Pitch-Hit-Run Contest.  Braden is older that Jax and Jaxen really looks up to him.
This is the TEAM!  GREAT, great, GREAT group of Boys.  We had a fun season!
....SAFE!  Jaxen playing safe on 2nd!
 Concentration....Running.... Love  his face!
BIG HIT!

Baseball is fun, I love it even more because it's something that Jax truely shows a passion for at this point.  He gets frusterated with his mistakes, he cares about his teammates, he puts forth 100% effort....and tonight he was almost in tears when I tucked him in because the season is "already" over!
I am proud of him for his leadership on his team and for all his efforts.
This past weekend Jax learned to wakeboard.  Ok...so I got a pic in the few seconds that he was up.  However, this is the first time he has shown interest in getting out there and trying something.  I was pumped!  He did really good!

Jaxen is a great boy.  I am proud to call him my son.  He is growing up so fast and really maturing in so many ways.  As I think back on just the past year and his maturing I am amazed.  We have been praying together everynight for quite awhile and now I ask him to take turns with me praying.  He prays for everyone, and truely lets his heart out.  It makes my heart so happy to hear him pray!  If I could have any one wish it would be that my children become Christians and marry a Christian.  I want the best for my babies, and I make it my #1 goal to instill these values in them each and every day.

I love you Jax!  Your my #1 boy!!!!
