LAKE Fun!

I may have already told you but I love love love going to the Lake. I love getting away, I love thinking I'm still young and can do all the sports on the water (until the next day when I feel it), and I love hanging out with friends and family.
We had a great 4th of July weekend at Ft Cobb with Brandon and Jenny.  We also got to meet up with several of our friends.
Our family!
Becca, Amber, (Kate), and me
Enjoying the day on the lake!
.....I'm not real sure what's wrong with him.  Think he may be my brother from another mother!
The boys!!!

I can't wait for another weekend at the lake! Great get away and FUN times!!!

The "Baaaaaaabbbbby" Kater!

She is a little doll, and she is a wild child!  Kate may be the hardest headed kid I've ever seen, she will not back away from what she wants til she gets it.
...this is what Kate LOVES - Popsicles!
...and Food!  She is a "snacker" -- she likes to snack all the time!

 ...she likes to have FUN!
 She's my baby Forever!!!
Mama loves you Kater Bug!  You may be strong willed, hard headed,
and pretty stubborn but you are also a little sweetheart!

Madi in the MIDDLE!

This is Miss Madi.  Madi is my super sweetheart!  She is a major helper, she is caring, and she is very loving to others....she is also pretty dramatic at times!  If I need a helping hand I know I can ask Madi and without question, she steps up and helps.  What a girl!
pic of her being a "helper" we are remodeling a bathroom right now and she helped her Uncle Brandon run tiles back and forth from the cutter to the bathroom.  She worked SO hard all afternoon!

....she is a great sister!  She is very motherly to Kate and she thinks Jaxen hung the moon!
She is the one always taking care of others!
A BIG recent accomplishment for her is she is a SWIMer!  She has been swimming all over the pool the past few weeks and goes off the diving board.  She absolutely hated swim lessons, but they gave her the confidence she needed, and she's doing great!
...and here is her lil T-ball team!  (Back row far right!)
She had a blast playing ball this summer, and she did really well!
I love you Madi Girl!  You are a sweetheart!!!!

My Firstborn...

I had planned to use this blog as a journal that I can transfer over to a book one day for my kids.  So, I'm going to spend the next few days writing individually about each of my children at this time in their lives.

The first, the oldest, my boy!  Jaxen is a GREAT kid, he is a wonderful BIG brother to his sisters....  He is funny, has a tender heart, is a helper, and LOVES sports!  We finished (tonight actually) a great season of Baseball.  He played his last coach pitch game! :(
They had an excellent season, won most of their games, and made their way all the way to Regionals.
This is Jaxen with Braden (a friend from Church) - they both qualified for the 2nd round of the Pitch-Hit-Run Contest.  Braden is older that Jax and Jaxen really looks up to him.
This is the TEAM!  GREAT, great, GREAT group of Boys.  We had a fun season!
....SAFE!  Jaxen playing safe on 2nd!
 Concentration....Running.... Love  his face!
BIG HIT!

Baseball is fun, I love it even more because it's something that Jax truely shows a passion for at this point.  He gets frusterated with his mistakes, he cares about his teammates, he puts forth 100% effort....and tonight he was almost in tears when I tucked him in because the season is "already" over!
I am proud of him for his leadership on his team and for all his efforts.
This past weekend Jax learned to wakeboard.  Ok...so I got a pic in the few seconds that he was up.  However, this is the first time he has shown interest in getting out there and trying something.  I was pumped!  He did really good!

Jaxen is a great boy.  I am proud to call him my son.  He is growing up so fast and really maturing in so many ways.  As I think back on just the past year and his maturing I am amazed.  We have been praying together everynight for quite awhile and now I ask him to take turns with me praying.  He prays for everyone, and truely lets his heart out.  It makes my heart so happy to hear him pray!  If I could have any one wish it would be that my children become Christians and marry a Christian.  I want the best for my babies, and I make it my #1 goal to instill these values in them each and every day.

I love you Jax!  Your my #1 boy!!!!
